RCIA sessions for those who may be interested in joining the Catholic Church are continuing on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Immaculate Conception Church Hall in Calais. The topics this week include the Sacrament of Baptism and the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

Fourth Degree Knights meet the first Sunday of every other month in Calais (except when the date falls on a holiday weekend), and on the second Wednesday of the alternate months in Machias, beginning February 2025. The Knights of Columbus St. Croix Council #149 is sponsoring a free throw contest for area youth at the Calais Elementary School on Saturday, January 24, 2025. Parishioners are invited to the Immaculate Conception Church Hall after 8:30 am Mass for coffee, donuts and conversation. Coffee and donuts are provided by the Knights of Columbus. Donations of additional pastries are always welcome.
