Parishioners of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish gathered after 8:30 am Mass in Calais on Sunday, August 3, 2025, to wish Augustine Tah well as he prepared to return to Baltimore for his second year of Theology. The St. Croix Council # 149 of the Knights of Columbus organized the coffee and donuts reception. Grand Knight Mike Boies presented Augustine with cards and gifts and invited Augustine to say a few words.  

Augustine noted that one always remembers the first time that one did something and said that he will always remember the parishioners at St. Kateri Tekakwitha because it's been his first experience serving in a parish. He indicated that as much as he enjoyed his time here, he needs to return to St. Mary's Seminary so he can continue his studies for the priesthood. Augustine has three more years of study before his ordination.
