Bishop James Ruggieri is sending Father Jude Lawsamba to St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish to assist Father Roland until October. Father Jude, originally from Cameroon, has been studying in Rome. He is scheduled to arrive in Calais this summer.Read More

Eight Knights of Columbus Third Degree members from Calais and Machias became members of the K of C Fourth Degree Saturday, June 8, 2024, in Calais. A diocesan seminarian serving in Houlton also joined the Fourth Degree with the group. State Officers were in attendance to perform the ceremony, as well as members of the Assembly 342 Honor Guard. Joining the ranks of the Fourth Degree were: John Magera, Julian Jörges, Weston Ranalli, George Brady, Father Roland Berngeh, John Shively, Ezekiel Banla , Keith Auld and Christopher Sarao.Read More
