Over 130 people gathered Sunday, July 13, 2025 in the Immaculate Conception Church Hall for the annual parish picnic, celebrated near the feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha.. Knights of Columbus Council # 149 cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and provided buns, condiments and grills. Parishioners brought sides and desserts. The Daughters of Isabella, St. James Ladies Sodality and St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Women's Group coordinated their efforts to set-up, serve and clean up after the event. Augustine Tah is a seminarian visiting this summer from the diocese of Kumbo in Cameroon. He is from the village of Lassin, an agricultural community of approximately 500-600 people. He is the sixth of seven children, with two sisters and four brothers. Click on the article title to read more.
